The very reason that we are saved by grace is because of His unending love for us. No one can truly comprehend God’s love for us excepting the Son. The Bible states god’s love and His love never fails. Sometimes we fail to feel God’s love because we fail to read His Word. The truth is that we won’t really understand God’s love unless we know what the Son was like. In everything that has been made known to us through the Word, love is the virtue behind the purpose of the Word. We created our own doom because of our own folly. The reason behind our downfall was that we lusted after the world. The truth that has to be made known is that if we continue lusting after the world, we will meet the same fate as our predecessors. Cursed is the man who lives by the dictates of the world but blessed is the man who lives by the virtue of the Word. We cannot pretend to be ignorant about what the Word is. Inspite of our knowledge of the Word what makes us drift away from it is the absence of the Spirit of Truth in us. Unless we are convicted by the spirit we will never understand his love for us. We know not what God is like because we invite not the spirit.
Without God our life is meaningless. Without the Son our life would be doomed. And without the spirit our life can be wasted. The very reason you keep grieving over your own sins is because you keep rejecting the comforter whom God sent. Continue to sin and your fate will almost be certain. For those who continue to sin, sin shall be its master. What we can see is that many are enslaved by sins. They are still dead in their sins because they rejected the righteousness which God offered.Those blinded by the spirit of the world will never be able to see the light of the day unless they call out for help. Its never easy to come out of something which we are addicted to. But however tough the hindrances may be you need to be the victor. Only when you know that you are truly saved you will begin to gradually understand God’s love. What you need to be aware of is that transformation is a process. You won’t be able to overcome your weaknesses at an instant. But if you start believing that you can change, the spirit of God will instantly start working in you. Gradually with the continuation of the process you will become more Christ like. That will be when you will begin to cherish His love for you. This act of mutual love is the fulfilment of all the laws. The moment you learn to understand His ways, His love will be made complete in you.
When the love of God is in you, you will start seeing life from a godly perspective. All that you do will be Christ centred and all that you desire will be the love of your lover.
The Word states blessed are those who find favour in the eyes of God. When the favour of God is upon you all that you desire will be yours. It will not be by the virtue of what you did but it will be by the virtue of what His love is to you. In all of this knowledge of the Word is important and the presence of the spirit is essential. When the spirit of God is in you, you will be sensitive to the desires of God. Understanding His love will open new doors for the blessings to flow in. understand it and be blessed. This is what we (the Church of Christ) has to do.
