Tokhu night bazaar begins in Wokha

Wokha, Oct. 31 (EMN): The eight-day ‘Tokhu Night Bazaar,’ organised by ‘Mharenden’- peer group under the aegis of Lotha Hoho Tokhu Committee commence today at local ground, Wokha town.

President of Wokha District Chamber of Commerce and Industries (WCCI), Renbon Ezung, declared the carnival open, while a dedicatory prayer was said by Khonbemo Kikon, Associate Pastor WTBC.

Convener of Tokhu Emong Committee, Zubenthung Humtsoe, speaking on the occasion, advised all stall owners to be blessed with the season of the Lotha festival and wished the shoppers a wonderful experience during the carnival.

Renbon Ezung, while declaring opening of the carnival, advised the local entrepreneurs to be dedicated, focused and make the event as a launch pad in their career. Observing that business sector has come to be dominated by non Nagas, he advised them to take up the dealerships rather than buying from non-local.

James Tungoe, secretary of Tokhu Night Bazaar Committee, chaired the event.

Altogether 38 stalls are set up at local ground. It was informed that Tokhu Night Bazaar will continue till November 7.
