Thuwu-ni 2018: Everything about the festive extravaganza

The organisers of Thuwu-ni festival addressing media persons for the festival at Hope Cafe in Dimapur on Saturday.

Thuwu-ni the outdoor festival providing an amalgamation of local art, culture and Thuwu-ni Music Festival (TMF) will witness the best musical talents of Northeast, Mumbai and Russia under one roof at Natsumi outdoor stadium in Pughoboto a subdivision of Zunheboto district.

The 4th edition of Thuwu-ni festival will be a three-day affair which will begin on Nov. 15 and conclude on Nov. 17. This was informed at a press conference held at Hope Cafe Duncan Basti in Dimapur on Sat. Oct. 20 by the organisers.

The Thuwu-ni festival was initiated in 2014 by the local legislator and the 4th edition is managed by Musik-A.

TMF will be a three-day affair for all age group with “Rock & Roll nite”, “The New Age” and “Body Move nite” as the theme. The artiste line up or TMW Nov. 15 “Rock & Roll nite” are Lords of Rock (LOR), Paper Sky, Sourabee Debbarma (Former Indian Idol), Unplugged 3, Nomkachiba Lemtur, Kino Chophy, Alosheli Zhimo, Laphu Phumi and Kivito Achumi; for Nov 16 “New Age nite” are the winner of Hornbill International Rock Contest 2017 winner Avora Records from Mizoram, Polar Lights, Fine Mess from Manipur, Technicolors, Zuchobeni Tungoe and Jonathan Yhome; and for Nov 17 “Body Moves nite” are Julia Bliss from Russia, Mozzey, Roy from Mumbai,  DJ Sumika and Noel Zoek.
