The chief guest lauded the youth organisation for undertaking such an event for all-round physical and mental development in a spirit of healthy competition. Since this will be followed subsequently by CAYSA sports week and district as well in sequence, he added.

Dr. V.Thingo urged the youth to take up various challenges and responsibility of the village. He stated that in sports, there are conventional and non-conventional ones especially in Naga rural areas. Conventional are football, volleyball, jumps, race, etc while non-conventional sports are among others like archery, rifle shooting, and pistol shooting. He urged the youth to take up non-conventional sports as well. “Choose where your talent is, old or new and use it professionally in your life”, he asserted.

He impressed the youth to maintain the past glory of the village and take up responsibility. He also insisted on building of leadership with unity.

He challenged the youth to take up various projects like tourism, herbal farming and other rural level development for the benefit of rural areas as there is good prospect.
