If we are honest to our votes, ultimately we do get good leaders. If we desire change to happen ,we first need to be responsible for ourselves before we can be responsible for others. We have to keep in mind at all times that everything we do have something to do with our society.
For how long are we going to be trapped in the state of illusion? Isn’t time for us to retrospect how long and times have we been deceived by a package of empty vessels? Are we partially going to blame the govt. or put the whole of it into the state machinery. This fault involve both, the greed of public selling the right to vote and the corrupted leaders who paves his way for save heaven of wealth. The blame game is over. Time has taken away infrastructure development, jobs, public health and many more of our rights while we were busy playing blame games. The words that came out from the biggest tongue of politician has flown away into the air of pollution.
Nagaland is pregnant with corrupted leaders and it is the need of the hour to fight the good fight and breeds accountable authentic leaders. HURRAY! 2018 is knocking at our door and we all are aware of it. The General Election where we get chance to choose the kind of government we want and the kind of leaders we need. Time is nearing and opportunity awaits us to decide the course whether to choose welfare state or a state of wretchedness. We must be ready by now and see beyond today’s challenges in order to facilitate transformation,2018 make the best choice. We may feel sticky now with corruption but it’s never too late to change as we are luckily not stuck.
With only few months to go for state General Election, the political propagandas are hovering round the clock and soon the campaign will be kick off by various political parties with attractive PARTY MANIFESTO vowing the public with development in every corner and employment opportunities for youth of all.
But we need to firmly decide what kind of leaders does nagaland cries for at present. I believe nagaland been had struggled alot for justice and good governance, one must have realised by now how important is to have a good leader to govern and administer the state of affairs. We need leaders who can lead by example and their is no place for a motivational speakers screaming in every political rally asking us to wake up. Time has come for the leaders to show their skills in administration and governance instead of talking about big dreams and begging us to vote for them.
If the candidate say, I will provide employment to the youths, let us not hesitate to question them back. In what ways are they going to compensate employment? What is the strategy to create jobs? How far can healthy competition be assured? Will priority be given to the competent and deserving one? Or will nepotism still overrule justice. With this thought in mind, let us adjudge the credibility of a candidate not by their theorist or achievements but how long is he ready to walk an extra mile for his people.
It is a fact that everyone wants good leaders but no one wants to be a good leader before money. Alas, this is Nagaland. Let us not repeat the same history. We all have taste and experience how bitter is to live under the roof of a corrupted government.

Good leaders can be made by our votes, let’s all do it together. 2018 our chance
