Terrorism has no religion

Terrorism has no religion, no caste and no boundary. It is wrong to attach or link such mindless activism with any religion or community. The Congress party leaders using the term ‘Hindu terror’ loosely would also to mean that Hinduism is ‘the mother lode of bad ideas’.
Hinduism has been around for several millennia and so far we don’t have grounds to assert that the religion (some may call it ‘a way of life’) is inherently violent. We only have some rotten potatoes in the bag. We should be patient enough to identify these few bad potatoes for the reason that the acts of these handful of leaders with sick mentality can only be attached with the above mentioned caricature—not with the religion.According to BJP leaders, Rahul Gandhi, Sushil Kumar and P Chidambaram are some of the Congress leaders who often use the term ‘Hindu terror’. On the issue, the arch-rival parties engaged in war of words in the Lok Sabha on Friday. The Congress party ‘accused the former of polarising the country’ while BJP leader and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh took turn to lash out at the rival party that ‘coining such a term (Hindu terrorism) is ‘weakening the fight against terror.’
Sadly, in their attempts to gain political mileage, which is typical of the politicians, both the party leaders shed their dignity gowns while attacking the other. No business was conducted and no sign of remorse displayed for the gridlock by the Parliamentarians.
Now, what we can only comment is—as long as the basic Parliamentary virtue is not dismantled such pandemonium can be still tolerated. However, going by the way our political class behaves we have reasons to feel insecure. This is more so because though operational efficiency of both the Congress party and the BJP is still intact their moral responsibility is at its lowest ebb.
