Tening village holds conference cum cultural festival

Dimapur, Jan. 5: The 7th Tening triennial general conference cum cultural festival was held in Tening village on January 5 with Namri Nchang, Member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing 6 Tening Assembly Constituency was the chief guest.

Namri Nchang, in his speech, called upon all to preserve culture wherever they live and asked the Tening village to set an example.

Achakbo Newmai, Superintendent Engineer, Department of Agriculture, Government of Nagaland, also spoke in the occasion as the guest of honour.

Rev. Kitanwi Chewang, executive secretary of Liangmai Baptist Association (LBA) said the invocation, while special number was presented by BYE Tening Village. The welcome note was delivered by Namkiabui, Chairman of TVC and Zengdibo Meriamai delivered the presidential address.
