Tening issues final list of candidate for ULB civic poll

Dimapur, Jan. 18:  Tening Town Council has issued a final list of candidates for Urban Local Bodies election. As per record on the last date of withdrawal on January 17, 13 candidates filed nomination in Tening Town Council Civic Poll 2017. Out of which, candidates were 6 female and 7 male with 9 NPF, 1 INC and 3 Independent.

Thsuvisie Phoji, NCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and Returning Officer (RO) of  Tening Town Council, informed that 12 candidates are in the fray for the polls scheduled by State Election Commission of Nagaland to be held on February 1.

Out of nine Wards, three Wards will be contesting with two females in women reservation seat and one Ward in open seat by male candidates which also includes six who are standing unopposed candidates.
