Dimapur, Nov. 14 (EMN): The Tuensang District Football Association inaugurated the TDFA Cup, to commemorate its Silver Jubilee on Mon. Nov. 13 at the Parade ground, Tuensang with EAC, Tuensang, Tsiatsüsie as the chief guest.
Congratulating the TDFA on attaining its Silver Jubilee, and for molding the youngsters in the district in the field of sports, EAC, Tuensang, Tsiatsüsie expressed hope that the tournament will serve as a spring board to enable young talents to pursue higher goals in sports not just in the district, but even beyond. Games and sports is no longer a mere hobby or amusement, but has now become a lucrative and respectful profession, he said advising the players to play with the games spirit. Advisor, TDFA, W. Chingmak gave a brief highlight of the history of TDFA. 26 clubs will be participating at the 1st TDFA Cup.
