‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ campaign organises in Manipur

Senapati,Sep. 25: Water and Sanitation Committee Senapati public health and engineering Division, government of Manipur today organized ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ campaign at Senapati Town Hall.
On the occasion, public health and engineering department Minister L Dikho and DC Senapati district Athem Muivah, were the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.Dikho said, Swachh Bharat is the main agenda of the present government.
He appealed to village chairmen and secretaries to initiate strict implementation of Open Defecation Free village. He also appealed the church leader and school teachers to take cleanliness programme and inculcate the habit of keeping cleanliness environment.
Many village chairmen, secretaries, public leaders and government officers attended the function and the members attended in the function have taken pledge of Swachhta Hi Seva. The pledge was administered by the chief guest
