Dimapur, Dec. 30 (EMN): With the aim to declare Pfutsero as ‘litter free town,’ students of Pfutsero Government College (PGC) in collaboration with the administration conducted a pledge and signature campaign in the college premises on December 7.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC Pfutsero, Zeneikhonuo Vimero, appreciated the college for taking the initiative to declare the college as a ‘litter free campus.’ She called upon the students, faculty members towards making Pfutsero as litter free town. She also highlighted on the importance of waste segregation.
The ADC also administered the two pledges- Swachh pledge and pledge to segregate.
Ms Abeinuo Jasmine Ashao, EAC Pfutsero and nodal officer of Swachh Bharat Mission Pfutsero sub-division, gave the introduction to Swachh Survekshan 2019 and also introduced Swachhata App to the members present.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by TL Singsit, college’s vice principal.
