Students graduate from ‘functional English’ course

Mokokchung, March 26 (EMN): A number of BA 6th semester students of ‘functional English,’ of Fazl Ali College at Chuchuyimpang village in Mokokchung district, has graduated from the course.
Akok Walling, a retired teacher from Dimapur addressed a programme that was conducted to mark their graduation.
He urged the students to ‘come out from the wrong concepts of studying just for examinations.’

He urged them to ‘learn for life application.’ He congratulated the graduates of “functional English” for choosing a discipline that is the ‘most analytical and most researched language’ in the world.

The department at Fazl Ali College was started by Akok Walling as a vocational subject to enhance the student’s communication skills in English.
