Students enlightened on IPC and traffic rules

Dimapur, August 20 (EMN): A seminar on basic laws of Indian Panel Code (IPC) and Traffic Rules was organised for the students of Classes IX to XI at Pilgrim Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, on August 19.
The resource persons were led by Assistant Commissioner of Police ‘A’ Division East Police Station, Kaino H Sema. Sub-Inspector Chopika Sema highlighted on the common laws of IPC, penalties for domestic violence, child labour, cyber crime, sexual harassment, rape, etc.
The second session was presided by Sub-Inspector Bokato of Traffic Police Department, Zone 1 Dimapur, wherein he highlighted the students with various rules associated with traffic and road safety.
ACP Kaino H Sema concluded the session by throwing light on various branches of Police department enriching the pupil’s knowledge, how to lodge an FIR, penalties for juvenile and cyber crime. He quoted the lines ‘with power comes great responsibility,’ to advise the pupils to be responsible citizens for better civilised society.
