The Nagaland Board of School Education has informed that the results of the HSLC and HSSLC examinations for 2016 conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education would be released, tentatively, on May 3. The board issued a circular on Thursday informing about the schedule.

Office premises
From HSSLC Examination 2016, the rank and division of successful candidates will be decided on basis of best 5 subjects. This is subject to having passed the compulsory subjects as per the Scheme of Studies for each stream respectively.
School-wise statistics showing the number of students securing 80% and above in aggregate at the HSSLC Examination will be shown in the Result Gazette.
The Board will also be conducting Compartmental Examination for students who appeared the HSLC Examination 2016 and failed in 3(three) or less subjects. Successful candidates of the compartmental examination can join the higher secondary level this year itself, thus, saving a year. Heads of institutions are informed to collect the mark-sheets / certificates by May 7, 2016.
