State JD (U) congratulates national president

Dimapur, May 25 (EMN): Nagaland unit of Janata Dal (United) has congratulated its national president and chief minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, for the landslide victory of NDA (BJP-17, JDU-16 and LJP-6) by winning 39 seats out of 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar.

“The thumping victory by sweeping the state was based on the developmental spheres with justice and bringing about sea changes from jungle raj,” State unit general secretary, Kitoho S Rotokha said.

The State JD (U) also congratulated the prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and the BJP president, Amit Shah, for the landmark victory in general election.

It also congratulated six JD (U) candidates on their victory in Arunachal Pradesh assembly elections under the leadership of Senchumo (NSN) Lotha, chairman of JD (U) North East Executive Council (NEEC) and president of Nagaland unit, and Dr. Afaque Ahmed Khan, JD (U) national general secretary and in-charge of Northeast.

Meanwhile, JDU at the national and state levels and State minister of Agriculture and Cooperation, G Kaito Aye, have congratulated Tokheho Yepthomi, the consensus candidate of PDA, and Sharangain, NDPP candidate of 26 Aolengden AC, on their victory under the leadership of the State Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton, NDPP president Chingwang Konyak, State BJP president and minister of Higher and Technical Education Temjen Imna Along. JD (U) has conveyed successful tenure to both the leaders.
