Dimapur, Jan. 21: A meeting for distribution of work in connection with the ensuing Republic Day celebration at Peren was held in the DC’s conference hall under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Peren, Zarenthung Ezung.
Addressing the members, the chairman said it is the protocol duty of each department to participate in the Republic Day celebration.
Various departments were assigned different duties. He also called upon the government employees of the district to participate in the celebration.
Meanwhile, a mass social work was held on January 17 at Multi Disciplinary Outdoor Sports complex, New HQ Peren, with the initiative of administrative officers led by DC Peren, Zarenthung Ezung.
Atoizu: In view of the forthcoming Republic Day celebration, a meeting was held at ADC office, Atoizu, on January 12 under the chairmanship of ADC, Atoizu, Hito Sema.
During the meeting, work distribution was assigned to various departments. Asukhuto village, Vekuho New and Vekuho Old will present cultural items. Further, the ADC asked all the Departments to complete the assigned task and be present during the celebration.
Pfutsero: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pfutsero, Sangmai C Imlong convened a meeting on January 17 with all head of offices, institutions, presidents of political parties, ward chairmen and Head GBs of Pfutsero town to chalk out programme for the forthcoming Republic Day celebration.
The meeting discussed on work distribution to various departments of
Pfutsero town. ADC also informed that there will be a mass social work on January 23 in Pfutsero town starting from 7 AM onwards and urged upon all citizens and town dwellers to participate in the mass social work.
He further directed all government departments to clean the office premises on the same day without fail.
