Sky Hospital signs MoU with Assam Rifles

Dimapur, October 22: In a ceremony held at the HQ IGAR (South) on October 21, the chairman of Sky Hospital Dr Shyam Kishore and Major General V S Sreenivas, the Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) signed a memorandum of understanding ‘for empanelment of Sky Hospital with Assam Rifles.’
“With the signing of this MoU, the soldiers of Assam Rifles and their families will be able to avail cashless treatment at the Sky Hospital for Speciality and Super Speciality Services.
The force will also be benefitted in terms of better emergency, ICU and casualty services, besides avoiding sending patients to higher medical centers outside Manipur,” a press release from the security force on Saturday stated.
During his address at the ceremony, Maj Gen V S Sreenivas highlighted the importance of the “empanelment” of Sky Hospital with the Assam Rifles.
“He also briefed the gathering about the upgradation (sic) of the Assam Rifles Nodal Hospital at HQ IGAR (South), Mantripukhri and the upcoming ICU facilities.
After the ceremony Dr Shyam Kishore, chairman (of) Sky Hospital talked about the facilities available in Sky Hospital and the high standards of medical care being delivered at the hospital.
He also promised to provide the best available medical treatment to the soldiers of Assam Rifles and looked forward to a fruitful association with Assam Rifles,” the press release stated.
