Dimapur, Jan 21: Shilpgram Mahotsav 2017, a national level festival marking its 11th foundation day of Shilpgram is being organised by North East Zone Culture Centre (NEZCC) at its complex at Panjabari, Guwahati, from January 17 to 22.
The festival was inaugurated by Padmanabha Balakrishna Acharya, Governor of Nagaland and Chairman of NEZCC. The first day of the Shilpgram Mahotsav was marked by choreographic presentation followed by Rabha folk song (Bhabaiyan Gayan) and folk dances from Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, EZCC and NCZCC.
