I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matthew 18:18

“ Those who sows in tears will reap with songs of joy.”
“ I wait for the Lord, my soul waits and in his word I put my hope.”
“ My eyes fail looking for your salvation, looking for your righteous promise.”
“ I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a girl.”
“ I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes. But by these slave girls you spoke of, I will be held in high honor.”
“ My flesh trembles in fear of you; I stand in awe of your laws.”
“ My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.”

This key verse is what an investment is, and as the deeds are so will the rewards be. The man after God’s own heart stood firm when he stood firm but in his fall, the sufferings had to be endured. The investment he made in his darkest moments was confession before God and as the relationship was his eyes were always fixed on the truth. The psalms he wrote are all about devotions, prophecies and the judgment to come. This king loved God but the sins of adultery with Bathsheba caused him to br on the edge most of his life. The response he gave Michal was firm but in his fall the consequences was severe. This anointed man of God faced threats on his life, his throne and even his dignity.

For as he sinned confession had to come, repentance had to come for the relationship to be restored. The cries and anguish of David was great but it was his love for God which is a mystery in itself. The throne was given to him, his master’s wives were given to him but it made him wept as God rebuked him. Thus in this we see how the joy of relationship are enjoyed in love but we also find there are sorrows in backsliding. For there was a time when I said I will be faithful but I was unfaithful and as I was on a high , there were also moments of backsliding. The way of my former vileness only made me weep as I remembered God’s love. This is how it is and as the elected of God , the devotions we give to God must not be in vileness but in faithfulness. The ways of God’s ways are strange and as the relationship is so it must be honored. The truths of this teaching are for all who honors the word and lives in the way of truth. The passion of God is our desire.
( Psalm 126:5 ) ( Psalm 130:5 ) ( Psalm 119:123 ) ( Job 31:1 ) ( 2nd Samuel 6:22 ) ( 119: 120 ) ( 119:112)
