Service foundation course for secretariat assistants underway

Dimapur, Dec. 5: Secretariat Service Foundation Course (SSFC), a three-month course for newly thirty recruited secretariat assistants (NPSC 2015) got underway at ATI, Kohima on December 5.
During the inaugural programme, guest of honour L. Youdang Jamir, joint director exhorted the trainees and urged them to be sincere, dedicated and be committed to work.
Dr. Hovithal N. Sothu, deputy director chaired the programme while Dr. Alem W. Longchar, librarian and course coordinator (SSFC) gave an introduction to the course. The three months course will cover soft skills, basic office procedure, government rules, service, account matter etc, and will be taken up by faculty from ATI and guest faculties. The trainees will also be attached to various directorates followed by one week district and village visit.
