The title seems conflicting but once you get the real insight about it you will no longer be suspicious. Everything that is ordinary remains trivial but everything that is controversial becomes an issue of debate. What you cant undo is the influence the media has over it. When the morning paper comes all that we focus on are the headlines. Tragic and controversial news are always highlighted. The news that makes the front page are often about controversies, politics, rapes, crimes and social issues. The news which make the headlines are the ones which involve controversies. No celebrity is spared from facing the devastating consequences of controversies. Every little thing they do is scrutinized. It becomes hard for them to live as commoners. Their front gates are usually crowded with media persons from different agencies.
What is noteworthy is that some creates controversies to promote their own self-centered status. Recently Madonna created such a controversy for depicting herself being crucified on the cross. In addition to this devious tactic Michael Jackson has also become an object of ridicule for his weird habits and nature. The freedom of religion is often a debated issue. Madonna became the first celebrity to officially embrace Kabbalah. Considering the influence she has over the world damage has been done to many. She has become an idol in the eyes of millions. A wax figure of her has also being put up in her honor. Her life long dream to become a celebrity has being realized. The wealth, the riches, the fame has become part of her life. Her stunning looks and seductive antics has left the world mesmerized. What we see in her is the spirit of the world taking possession of her. In other words she is being used by the spirit of seduction to seduce others.
Great is her beauty. Stunning is her looks. Riches are her priority. But detestable are her antics. What is saddening is that she is trodding on the path of destruction. For the Word clearly states that wayward people has no place in the kingdom of heaven. What she is is that she has become the daughter of darkness. In her desperation to make a name for herself she is not only forfeiting her soul but she is also ruining the lives of many. This is not attempt to condemn her but to condemn her actions. Lest she changes for the better salvation can never be hers. The best we as the Church of Christ can do is to pray for her. This might seem like a strange idea but trust me it will be worth it. What we see the people of the world doing is fulfilling the desires of the flesh. Many prominent celebrities has embraced new philosophical ideas and religion. Creating something new often attracts the attention of the masses. This latest trend of creating new religion is becoming the centre theme of all the worldly activities.
For every sin committed there will be a consequence for it and for every error committed there will be a punishment for it. What is saddening is that the pioneers of these new religion are liable to be punished for it. A question worth pondering over is that will you sell your soul for the sake of being recognized…don’t be deceived by what they do. Your soul is far more precious than the things of the world. Be not part takers in their sins. This is what the kingdom of darkness is all about. The purpose of the kingdom of darkness is to steal, kill and destroy. Let not the purpose of the evil one be fulfilled but be the one to foil the plans of the evil one. You are one of us and we as the Church of Christ should be united in prayer that we foil the plans and objectives of the evil one. Pray for those who are still in darkness as your father prayed for you when you were in darkness.
