Brooklyn Beckham has made it no secret he’s had a crush on Selena Gomez, but after chasing her for over a year, the 16-year-old Brit got his heart broken by the “Same Old Love” singer, OKMagazine.com can reveal.
Brooklyn has a “major crush” on Justin Bieber’s ex, despite being in a relationship with Chloe Grace Moretz. “He drools about her to all his friends and thinks she’s the hottest woman alive,” a source told us.
But an insider told OK! that the British heartthrob is now begging Selena, who is 23, to put him out of his misery and stop with the teasing for once and for all—especially since her flirting ruined his relationship with Chloe!
“He was smitten with Selena even while he was dating Chloe, which was one of the reasons they broke up,” the insider said.Selena was reportedly “too hooked on Justin Bieber at the time,” despite Brooklyn’s non-stop efforts to land a date with the singer.
So why did she break his heart? The source said while Selena was “flattered” with his crush, she was just “not convinced” it could work between the two of them, though they did hang out as just friends at New York Fashion Week on Sept. 11.
“She says Brooklyn’s sweet and all, but he’s just too young for her,” the insider revealed. “In a few years time that could change, but for now she only sees him as a friend – and it’s breaking his heart!”
