The age old adage “respect your elders” has become less convenient in modern human understanding. Why just respect for no reason; we should respect also our peers, genders, classes, youngsters etc. Respect is no obligation but earned. It would not make sense to respect a rugged unpolished criminal just because he/she is older than us. Interaction between humans is well established through mutual understandings of things, ideas etc., being uneducated in engaging only creates more social unrest and pollution in confines, and offences the other on many levels.
Disparity prevails publicly in pointing political mistakes and displaying personal issues, infringing personal liberty. In discussing social/political issues, we have to respect and maintain grounds for confrontation, revolving around production. Else, personal issues should be deliberated on personal or relevant platform (right to defend). Comparing these differences could certainly provide a clear picture on our social interaction.
