Dimapur, June 30 (EMN): The Alpine Open Scout & Guide unit conducted their annual training camp from June 26 to the 29th at St. Edmund School in Kigwema with 55 scouts and guides, scout master and guide captains, resource persons, among others.
According to updates from the organisers who issued a press release on Friday, the scouts and guides were mainly trained on the practical skills such as rope work, First Aid, pioneering projects; camp craft, estimation, signalling, camp gadgets, and games etc., they informed.
“The campers also experienced a taste of commando bridge and Monkey Bridge built by the senior scouts of the unit,” stated the note, appended by Imlisunep, administrator, Alpine Open S/G unit of Kohima.
