Dimapur, March 15: The State Bank of India (SBI) main branch, Dimapur launched YONO SBI, India’s first integrated omni-channel banking and lifestyle platform for card-less withdrawal of cash along with 16,500 SBI ATM’s across the country on March 15. The ATMs enabled for this service will also be termed as YONO cash points.

The regional manager of SBI, Dimapur, Paogin Haokip, said that this card-less withdrawal facility will enable customers to withdraw cash from ATMs without using any debit card by simply using the YONO app.

“At present, 25 select ATMs across Dimapur, Kohima and Kiphire have been enabled with this feature and the facility will be eventually rolled out in other districts,” informed Haokip.  He further informed that this facility will also provide security to the customers as it will prevent card cloning from ATMs.

Haokip further informed that apart from digital activities, the application is designed to offer other financial products including investments, insurance and credit cards. “The application is also designed to address daily lifestyle needs of customers through Business 2 Customer (B2C) marketplace,” he informed while adding that it is the most comprehensive, feature-packed digital platform accessible through the mobile app, tablet and web.

Currently, there are 2.5 million users across India who are registered on YONO app platform, and is on a mission to get on board 250 million users in the next two years.
