Sao Chang students visit children’s home in Tuensang

Dimapur, August 20 (EMN): Members of the Sao Chang Government College in Tuensang visited Kohdi Children Home at Sakshi sector in Tuensang on the occasion of the 71st Independence Day of India, on August 15.
During the visit, the members of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college and the Sao Chang College Students’ Union distributed gifts and provided lunch to the children and staff members of the home.
“During the interaction with the children and staff, the visiting team found the children’s home, a place of learning and healthy home environment for the children where they feel home away from their parental homes,” a press release from the organisers informed on Sunday.
“In spite of being deprived of the affection of their biological parents, the staff of the children home gives utmost importance, care, love, affection and accommodates them as their own children by way of helping and moulding them in various aspects of life so as to enable them become successful and useful individuals of the society,” the press release stated.
