Dimapur, Feb. 15 (EMN): Rongmei Naga Youth Organisation Nagaland (RNYON) has resolved to stands firm on the charter of the Rongmei people convention 2018. It may be mentioned that the Rongmei people had decided to refrain its association with the Zeliangrong organisations until a consensus was reached about until the kindred tribes Zeme, Liangmai, Rongmei and Inpui into its apex body.
The resolution to this effect was taken in its general assembly held under the aegis of Rongmei Naga Youth Organisation North East (RNYO-NE) on February 13 at Mhainamtsi under Peren district. The party resolved to that the Rongmei Naga Youth of Nagaland and its apex RNYO would exercise brotherly relation and support with the youth of Zeme, Liangmai and Inpui when call for confederation of youth forces for defence or worthwhile service.
RNYO media cell, in a press release, informed that it has reshuffled its officials as per the directives of the apex organisation RNYO. The organisation is being headed by Gaipuilan as president.
Chingkhiulung Gonmei, president of Rongmei Council Nagaland (RCN), has exhorted the youth to render cooperation and service for the uplift of the people, while the president of Rongmei Naga Namngakdai, president of Rongmei Naga Youth Organisation Manipur (RNYOM) motivated the members on the role, rights and responsibilities of Rongmei youth of today. He has encouraged the youth to defend and protect their land.
