Dimapur, July 20 (EMN): Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio called on the governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya at the Raj Bhavan in Kohima on Friday, according to a press release from the governor’s public relations officer.
“The governor discussed matters on (sic) public interest and desired that the government take prompt action to promote the welfare of the people. The two also discussed various issues related to the state during the one and a half hour long meeting,”
Later in the day, the deputy chief minister, Y Patton also called on the governor.
