Relief materials provided to flood victims in Dimapur

Dimapur, Sep. 24 (EMN): The Community Educational Centre Society (CECS) in collaboration with Development Opportunities Resources Access Insight (DORAI) Foundation distributed relief materials to the families affected by flood on Sep. 24.

A press release received here stated that the relief materials, which included food items, clothes and other daily utility items, were distributed to the victims in the presence of EAC Dimapur, Tokai V Sumi, council authorities and GBs of the three localities and the CECS Director, Subonenba Longkumer.

While distributing the relief materials, EAC Tokai expressed gratitude to the DORAI Foundation for their charity towards the victims. Nonetheless, he also stressed on the need to maintain proper drainage system around the locality in order to avoid further floods.

The CECS Director, Subonenba Longkumer while conveying gratitude for the relief materials provided by the DORAI Foundation to the victims of flood disaster of the State. He also expressed gratitude for their trust in CECS as the distributing partner.

The relief materials were provided to the most affected families in the three localities and altogether 58 families received the relief materials, the release further stated.
