Mokokchung, March 28 (EMN): Titans scored 131 runs in 44.4 overs after all its wickets fell against Skylark at the ongoing three-day Raj Verma Memorial test match played in Mokokchung today, while Skylark trailed by 12 runs at the end of the day scoring 120/9 in 50 overs.
For Titans Akumtong score 37 runs from 38 balls, while Yongzamong scored 39 runs from 34 balls. Imcharen took 2 wickets from 9 overs and Chotolal took 2 wickets from 5 overs.
Skylark bowler Upender scored 16 runs from 24 balls, while Viza scored 21 runs from 52 balls and Nayan scored 21 runs from 50 balls. Skylark will resume its run chase tomorrow but with 9 wickets down to avoid follow on at the three-day test match.
The test match is being organised in remembrance of Raj Verma, who introduced cricket in Mokokchung.
The organisers were from Mokokchung District T20 Cricket Federation. Prizes are sponsored by Late. Raj Verma’s family.
