Dimapur, April 20 (EMN): The SDPDB Pughoboto, during the monthly meeting held on April 9, decided to carry on a tree plantation week as part of the ‘Green Pughoboto’ initiative which had started in 2016 under LADP.
The tree plantation week will commence from May 14-19. The observation programme will be carried out in all the 24 villages under Pughoboto sub-division, update from DPRO on Friday informed.
For successful implementation of the project, Pughoboto sub-division has been divided into four areas and for which, officers from various departments have been roped in to supervise the work.
All the government employees under the sub-division are compulsory to be part of the initiative.
