‘Protection of Naga’s rights only enshrined in NPF constitution’

Dimapur, June 23 (EMN): The vice president NPF Central, Tsumongo Ovung while highlighting the Naga Peoples’ Front (NPF) party’s constitution, said ‘the protection and recognition of our Naga’s right are only enshrined in the NPF party’s constitution, which not be found in any national political party’.
He was addressing his first meeting, after he assumed the in-charge of NPF Wokha division at NPF Wokha division office’s conference hall, on June 23.
The vice president encouraged the party men to be strong in any situation and work for the success of the party. He also called upon the party workers to have co-ordination for efficient and decent working system amongst the party officials from top to grass root levels. Further, he appealed the party men to work with dedication with party’s principles.
Describing Tsumongo Ovung as a seasoned and efficient party leader, the president of NPF Wokha division, Mhonthung Patton, acknowledged the central party leaders for appointing him.
Meanwhile, the NPF Wokha division had strongly resolved to reaffirm and support the leadership of Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu, president NPF central and chief minister Nagaland, and Y. Patton Home Minister and in-charge of NPF Wokha division.
The meeting was chaired by Tachow Khenjung, vice president NPF Wokha division while invocation prayer was pronounced by Zanao Ezung, treasurer of the division and vote of thanks was proposed by Ekonthung Kikon, general secretary NPF Wokha division.
