State level workshop on 3rd party evaluation report

Dimapur, July 13 (EMN): A state level workshop was organized by the department of Sericulture on 3rd Party Evaluation Report conducted by M/s NABCONS for the implementation of Integrated Sericulture Development Project (ISDP) and Intensive Bivoltine Sericulture Development Project (IBSDP) under North Eastern Region Textiles Promotion Schemes (NERTPS) on July 11 at Capital Convention Centre, Kohima.

The commissioner-Secretary of Sericulture, Angau I Thou; scientist-D and head of regional office, Central Silk Board, Government of India, BN Choudury; and director of Sericulture, Imtisosang Ao highlighted the observations and suggestions of the evaluation.

Future road maps for NERTPS project was framed by the expert penal from Central Silk Board, a press release received from the department informed.

About 150 progressive from all the districts participated in the workshop.
