Dimapur, Oct. 1 (EMN): The Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Wokha, and staff conducted training for primary school teachers on ear care under NPPCD on September 26.
The training was conducted in two batches with Dr. Renbonthung Lotha, senior specialist ENT and district nodal officer NPPCD, Wokha, as the resource person. The resource person had emphasised on the awareness of hearing impairment, its prevention and treatment facilities available at health centres.
The training completed successfully for five blocks of Wokha district.
