Preparation of vermicompost held at Shoixe

Dimapur, Jan. 22: ATMA Satakha Block conducted one-day demo on preparation of vermicompost at Shoixe village on January 10, with John Belho, ATM as the resource person. The resource person demonstrated various practices used in vermicompost preparation. He also stressed on the benefits of applying the practices such as improving quality of soil, increasing plant yields, suppressing plant diseases and pests, etc. The programme was chaired by Livika Zhimo, BTM. A total of nine beneficiaries attended the demonstration programme.
