Dimapur, April 3 (EMN): Power consumers in the three towns of Dimapur, Chumukedima and Kohima will be able to receive SMS alerts concerning their respective billing statuses. This was informed through a press release from the department of Power on Monday.
It informed ‘consumers of the power department under Dimapur, Chumukedima and Kohima towns that the department will be launching SMS gateway to alert/inform the consumers of the billing status’.
“Hence the consumers of the aforementioned towns are hereby requested to provide their registered mobile numbers through: (a) registration at web portal by log (sic) in to www.dopn.gov.in or (b) send SMS (sic) their consumer id from their registered mobile number to the following mobile number of the department 7005405146,” the press release informed.
