Dimapur, Dec. 1 (EMN): Director Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Nagaland, Dr. IP Khala on Nov. 30 inaugurated the poultry farm at Old DVO office, South Point (W), Zunheboto as the chief guest.
The chief guest in his speech said the focus and objectives should be on the chicks rearing farming and not on the building, many of the projects in Nagaland fail because the focus is on the buildings forgetting for what purpose it is for. He lauded the idea of starting this chicks rearing at DVO Zunheboto.
The rearing farming will be started with 500 chicks, the capacity of the farm is around 2000 chicks and that it will be given to the farmers of Zunheboto district, the director said.
Earlier the chief guest unveiled the monolith. Short speeches were delivered by GB South Point (W) Zunheboto Khuvishe Zhimo and president VFAA Zunheboto Hekishe Kiho.
