Dimapur, March 29 (EMN): The forthcoming 8th edition of the Nagaland Veteran Football championship 2017 will be held from April 6-10, 2017 at Phek Town and hosted by the Phek District Veteran Football Association (PDVFA).
A press statement jointly issued by PDVFA Press Secretary Kuzhovesa Soho and Team Coach Nesahu Rhakho, stated that as per the laid down rules of the Nagaland Veteran Football Association (NVFA), players below the age of 45 years will be excluded from the tournament and as such the PDVFA will be strictly enforced on Aadhaar Card of every player.
Players without possessing Aadhaar Card will be debarred from participating in the tournament it and any suspicious Aadhaar cards will be cross checked in the office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Phek it added.
The release further added that henceforth the Presidents/Team Managers/ Team Coaches of all the participating teams are sincerely asked to submit the photo copy of Aadhaar Cards of the at the time of the registration.
