Peren DPDB recommends upgradation of SDO(C) Jalukie

Dimapur, March 6 (EMN): Peren District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) decided to forward proposal for upgradation of SDO (C), Jalukie, to ADC headquarters.
The proposal to this effect was taken during its monthly meeting on March 6 in the DC’s conference hall under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and DPDB Vice Chairman, Zarenthung Ezung.
After thorough discussion, the house decided forward proposal for upgradation of SDO (C), Jalukie, to ADC headquarters. The chairman also welcomed newly posted officersnamely SDO (C) Peren, Sarita Yadav, and Inspector F&CS Peren S Ali Konyak.
Dr. Khrielasanuo, DPO (UID-RCH) highlighted her departmental activities, where she said that Indra Dhanush Programme would be begin from March 6. She also said National Deworming Day would be held on March 10 and 15 while intensified polio vaccine second phase would be held in the month of April.Rural Development Project Director, Imtimenla informed on launching of Central Scheme Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Mission (SPMRM), National Rurban Mission (NRuM), at Ngwalwa village on March 7. She said chairman of Democratic Alliance Nagaland, TR Zeliang and minister of RD & REPA CL John will grace the occasion as the chief guest and guest of honour respectively. She requested all the DPDB members to be present at the function at 11 AM.
The chairman, meanwhile, requested all the head of offices to clear and clean up the surrounding of their respective offices to be safe from forest fires.
DPRO Peren, I Simon Teilia made a power point presentation on the departmental activities where he said Public Relations is the art and science of managing communication between an organisation and its key constituents to build, manage and sustain its positive image. He said department of IPR is primarily engaged in collection of news with special focus on the activities and achievements of the government, which is disseminated to all local newspapers, AIR Kohima etc.
The Department of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry and Food & Civil Supply also made powerpoint presentation on their departmental activities.
The Department of Co-Operation, Tourism and Economic Statistical were entrusted to present their departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
A Cattle Control Board was also formed with SDO (C) Hq. as convenor,
DAO Peren as member secretary, DHO Peren, DPO (LRD), CVO and DSCO (Soil) as members.
