Pension, GPF payment cases on AG’s website

Dimapur, June 27 (EMN): Retired government officers of the Nagaland government are informed that pension and GPF final payment cases settled up to the month of May 2017 have been uploaded on to the Accountant General’s website.

The establishment of the Accountant General issued a press release on Tuesday.

“This is to inform all retired state government officers / officials that pension and GPF final payment cases settled up to the month of May 2017 have been uploaded on the AG Nagaland website. Pensioners may log on to this office web-site at www.agnagaland.gov.in by clicking at felicitation and pension or GPF felicitation or by directly clicking on the Sticky Note written ‘click here to view list of settled pension / GPF final payment cases’,” the press release stated. “The list has also been put up for display at the Public Relation Cell and can be view on any working days during Office hours.”

“Aggrieved pensioners or government officials with genuine problems are requested to write directly to the Deputy Accountant General (A&E) Shri. Kahoto J Yepthomi via e-mail at kahoto_j@yahoo.co.in or agaenagaland@cag.gov. in or through a handwritten letter on the address given below for immediate clarification and redressal of their grievances. They can also submit suggestions to strengthen the delivery system,” the press release stated.

The address: Kahoto J Yepthomi, IAAS, Deputy Accountant General (A&E), office of the Accountant General (A&E), Kohima, Pin No.797001, Nagaland.

Further, the press release stated that the government of Nagaland had adopted the government of India’s office memorandum dated 18-02-15 “regarding revision of NPA for pension on 01-11-2016 duly received by this office on 21-02-2017.”

All pre-2008 (01-06-2008) retired medical officers / doctors of Nagaland may submit Form-II duly countersigned by the pension disbursing authority along with a copy of PPO book as well as the latest bank statement of pension drawn for revision of their pension, the press release added.

In another press release, the establishment informed all state government officials whose Provident Fund Accounts are maintained by this office that an Online GPF Information System will be hosted shortly on the office’s website where all information on GPF will be made available through SMSs.

“This system will enable the subscribers to view information such as ledger balances, deposits of a particular year, debits, status of their balances, for the current year as well as the previous years and download GPF statement directly from the Internet using valid user ID and password,” the press release stated.

Further, the establishment informed all state government employees that henceforth no paper GPF Statement would be issued.

“A subscriber registration form was sent to all the heads of department for due distribution at the directorate offices as well as district offices vide this office letter No.AG/AE/GPF/HOIST/2015-16/3234 Dated.31-10-2016 and all filled in forms were required to be resubmitted to this office on or before 30th November 2016., the press release explained.

But on scrutiny, it stated, ‘several directorates are yet to submit the consolidated forms.’

Therefore, all the directorates which are yet to submit the consolidated forms are requested to submit them latest by July 7, 2017.

Individual subscribers can also submit their duly filled Registration forms directly to the Sr.Accounts Officer/GPF Wing.
