PDA cabinet led by Rio meets Rajnath Singh

Dimapur, June 12 (EMN): Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi and discussed “issues pertaining to second helicopter services in Nagaland, release of disaster management fund, modernization of administration on the line of police modernization in the state, early settlement of Naga political issue.”
This was contained in a press release from the public relations officer of Nagaland House New Delhi on Tuesday. “…he also emphasise (sic) the need for extra attention to develop ENPO region,” it stated.
The chief minister was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton; Minister for Health & Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom; Advisor to Industries & Commerce, Imnatiba; Advisor, Skill Development, Labour and Employment and CAWD, Kazheto Kinimi; Advisor to Law and Justice, Border Affairs and Treasuries & Accounts, Dr. Longriniken; BJP State President Visasolie Lhoungu; General Secretary NPP, Sasank Ghatraj; and the newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) Lok Sabha, Tokheho Yepthomi.
According to the statement, Pangnyu Phom also supported Rio’s appeal special attention to ENPO areas citing Prime Minister Modi’s statement during his visit to the state. Patton “mentioned that the law and order situation and state government functionaries are doing well. He also appealed for more financial assistance from the centre.”
The union minister, it stated, ‘assured the maximum cooperation to the state by the centre for all round development.’ The chief minister and his cabinet colleagues also introduced the newly elected Lok Sabha member to the union minister, it informed.
