PBC building inaugurated in Wokha town

Dimapur, Oct. 1 (EMN): A new six-storey building constructed by Pangti Baptist Church (PBC) at Etsuchukha colony in Wokha town was inaugurated by pastor of PBC, N Manglio, in the presence of bonafide members and believers on September 27.
Pastor of Wokha Town Baptist Church (WTBC) and speaker of the programme, Rev. Sulumo Ezung said the huge building has come about through God’s knowledge and wisdom. He stressed on the need to maintain respect, love and care for each other to live happier lives.
Mentioning that “faith without work is dead and work without faith is also dead,’ he urged upon the believers to fear and trust God and galvanise both faith and work in all walks of life. He also emphasised on the need to maintain the building in a decent manner. He further encouraged everyone to maintain good relationship with God. Former Director of Higher and Technical Education, L Edward Lotha, in his exhortation said that the main aim of constructing the building was to promote mission work for the kingdom of God in our life time for salvation.
Pastor of PBC, who delivered the welcome address, has thanked all the donors and well wishers for the generous contribution towards the church building. He also gave special thanks to construction consultant Er. Chumbeno Shitio; architecture Renben Shitio; committee member Suyanpangti; and Pangti Ekhung from Wokha, Dimapur, Kohima, and Doyang who have relentlessly rendered their service during the construction.
According to the finance committee convenor, Nyimtsemo Ngullie, the total expenditure of the construction was Rs 2 crores seven lakhs and four hundred fourteen. The building was constructed with 35 rooms including 300 capacity conference room. It took six years and seven months to complete the building. On behalf of the construction committee, Zanao Jami highlighted the building estimate.
The programme was led by PBC associate pastor, Bichamo Yanthan, and deacon Nkomo Kikon invoked God’s blessings. Older citizen Tsenithung Ngullie presented special song, while the vote of thanks was delivered by pastor Manglio. Pastor of Pangti Baptist Church Ki, dedicated the building.
