Dimapur, Dec. 19 (EMN): Legislator from Wokha, Y Patton – who was recently sacked as the Home Minister – has appealed Chief Minister TR Zeliang to induct at least one representative from Wokha district into the latest cabinet ministry. In a letter to the chief minister on Tuesday, Patton stated that the recent sacking of legislators has ‘deeply hurt’ the sentiments of the Lotha community “as no cabinet minister representing Wokha district has been inducted in the ministry in spite of being a major tribe in the state of Nagaland”.
Patton requested – “in the interest of equal and balance representation in the popular government – the chief minister to consider the induction of at least one cabinet minister from Wokha district.
