Patanjali brand finds ground at Nagaland’s Peren district

Dimapur, Jan. 15 (DIPR): The institution of Patanjali has become a household name in just about 12 years because its products has gained popularity across the country and beyond, stated Chief Minister TR Zeliang after the inauguration of Engineering College, Para Medical & Nursing College, Ayurvedic College, Management College and National Institute of Fashion Technology along with Kuzholuzo Nienu, Home Minister, Nagaland, Swami Ramdevji Maharaj Patanjali Yogpeeth, Acharya Bal Krishnaji Maharaj Patanjali Yogpeeth and N Thomas Lotha Advisor HTE Nagaland at Punglwa Village, Peren on 18th January 2018.
While appreciating ‘Swami Ramdevji Maharaj’ and Acharya Bal Krishnaji for their noble gesture of investing in Nagaland for projects that are of utmost importance for the Nagas as it will also go a long way in bringing quality health care, jobs for the youths and an optional career in fashion etc., stated the chief minister.
He also added that, Nagaland has a population with 60% below the age of 25, who are hard-working and have the ability to dream. This initiatives of govt. of Nagaland wherein govt. will provide land and the Patanjali will invest in the project has the potential being a model public-private-partnership and centres of excellence not only in Nagaland but the entire Northeast.
Kuzholuzo Nienu, in his address stated that it is a record breaking laying foundation day (sic). He assures (sic) all possible govt. help for the endeavours. He also quoted the words of Swami Ramdev, that, ‘work is worship’ and that the Patanjali Mission is to develop every nook and corner of the country.
Thomas Lotha, who chaired the programme, in his speech stated clearly that these projects have nothing to do with religion. He impressed the villagers to genuinely co-operate for the success of the project. He also announced that, thirty percent will be selected from Punglwa and neighbouring villages for a tour programme to visit the Patanjali Company, for first-hand information and acquaintance.
Swami Ramdev stated that his mission is to see all India as a nation of healthy, scientific and secular country. He added that Patanjali is a company which support self-sustainability and non-profitable organisation. He impressed that God is one and therefore our philosophy should be to bring out a good human being from fellow human being.
Acharya Bal Krishna also spoke about the mission of Patanjali. The programme concluded with a folk dance by the Punglwa villagers. Vote of thanks was pronounced by CM Tsanglao IAS, Secy., Dept. of HTE.
