Orgs condole demise of late Dr. Choudhury

Dimapur, Feb. 23: NMDA: The Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association (NMDA) has expressed shock at the sudden demise of veteran doctor of Dimapur, late Dr. A.B. Choudhury. The association said late Choudhury was known by all for his soft spoken nature and kind heartedness and described him as a simple-living-high-thinking doctor, social worker, dedicated to his job and treated the poor patients free of cost.

NMDA prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members at this time of grief.

NPF Minority Wing: President NPF Minority Wing Central, Bishnu Bhattacharjee on behalf of all the members and community, condoled the demise of late Dr. Ashit Baran Choudhury. He said late Choudhury was the state president of IMA Nagaland, a prominent senior citizen and a social worker. NPF Minority Wing conveyed that he will be remembered by all the communities for his immense contribution as doctor and selfless community works since last 40 years in Dimapur. It also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.

HSS: Hindu Seva Samiti (HSS) expressed shock and grieve over the untimely demise of its former President, late Dr. A B Choudhury on February 23, who was also a prominent doctor of Dimapur.

The samiti said Dr. Choudhury had been instrumental in taking the Hindu Seva Samiti to newer heights during his tenure as the president and work cohesively to bring the community together.

As a practicing doctor, he is remembered for his philanthropic works for the poor and needy, besides his usual practice, added HSS.

The samiti lamented that his demise was a great loss to the people of Nagaland and the vacuum created will be very difficult to fill.

The HSS conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to Almighty God to grant them strength to bear the loss.

NBS: The Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj (NBS) is pained to learn about the untimely demise of late Dr. A B Choudhury, a prominent doctor of Dimapur and the former president of Hindu Seva Samiti on February 23. NBS conveyed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed that God grant them solace and comfort at this hour of grief and offered prayer for the departed soul to rest in peace.

Kuhoi Zhimo: Ex-Councillor of DMC ward no. 5, Kuhoi Zhimo has expressed pain over the untimely demise of late Dr. A B Choudhury on February 23. He described him as a humble man who always stood for the poor and needy people. He regretted that his demise was a not only a great loss to his family, but also people of Dimapur, especially his patients, who looked upon him as their saviour.

He also prayed to Almighty God to grant solace and comfort to the bereaved family members and the departed soul to rest in peace.
