Dimapur, July 1 (EMN): A number of organisations representing graduates from various technical fields have sought information from the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) concerning issues related to examinations.
A good number of organisations issued a joint press release on Saturday seeking clarification from the NPSC ‘in details’ regarding the roll numbers 7099,7101,7102,7103,7104,7105, and 7106.
The organisations represented in the press release were the Graduate Electrical Engineers Association (GEEAN), Association of Mechanical Engineers Nagaland (AMEN), Unemployed Civil Engineers Association Of Nagaland (UCEAN), Forestry Graduate Association Of Nagaland (FGAN), Agriculture Engineers Graduate Association Of Nagaland (AEGAN), All Nagaland Unemployed Veterinary Doctors Association (ANUVDA), Electronics & Communication Engineers Association Nagaland (ECEAN).
“With reference to the clarification issued by NPSC on 30th June in written media, the associations of GEEAN, UCEAN, FGAN, ASAN, AMEN demands for more details as to which Item number of the advertisement is the rule implemented and also stating the name of the branch for which NPSC has adapted in the recent CTSE 2016 written result,” the press release stated.
Further, the group sought to know the reasons as to ‘why the candidate 7099 was rejected and also to furnish the contents of the court order which permitted the candidate to sit for exam without any official notice by NPSC.’
‘It is also made know that the results were delayed and declared after 117 days because of those 3 petitioners who filed the court case,’ the groups stated.
Further, the organisations appealed to the NPSC to provide the answer key to ‘CTSE 2016’ to enable aspiring candidates to ‘assess their performance as well as to ensure transparency in selection of candidate.’
“As the present existing system doesn’t even allow the candidate the basic rights to assess their own performance, which causes so much unfair environment to the aspiring candidate. Therefore the association urge the NPSC to take necessary step and made provision to provide answer key for CSTE-2016,” the press release added.
