Organisations condemn murder; laud promt police action

AYO: The Angami Youth Organization (AYO) is extremely pained by the murder of Swuduve Nakro by the now established murderers. “This dastardly criminal act of the highest order perpetrated against an innocent person who is a father of five children is frustratingly viewed with revolting anger. No amount of words can be used to term such a horrific act” AYO stated.
While unequivocally condemning the act, AYO also appreciated the prompt action taken by the law enforcing agency in quickly nabbing the murderers.
The organisation extended its support to the ANTA’s demand and also urged that appropriate action according to proper section of the law must be imposed upon them.
Any person, family or group should be warned not to initiate process for bailing out these societal rags and hags who deserve the severest punishment or cast out and banished from human civilization, the release added.
AYO also conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family especially his five children who would face life fatherless and pray that God grant solace and eternal peace to the departed soul.
Taking a cue from the incident, AYO president, Neinguvoto Krose said certain modalities for public security must be put in place so that such situations are detected or avoided.
Police personnel must be equipped with latest equipments. Installation of CCTVS and coordinated system of registering exit and entry of vehicles from the town are some of the effort the Government must put in place,” AYO suggested, while adding that such organised system would assure security for the citizens.
WCYO: The Western Chakhesang Youth Organisation (WCYO) has condemned the cold blooded murder of Swuduve Nakro by Toishe Aye, Daniel Yimchunger, and accomplice Avito Zhotso.
Meanwhile, WCYO appreciated the swift and prompt action of the police in arresting all the three culprits involved in the gruesome crime. The organisation urged that no bail should be given to these murderers and further cautioned that anyone trying to bail culprits shall be doing so at their own risk.
The WCYO demanded justice for Nakro that befitting and severest punishment under IPC is served to the criminals who have taken the life of the innocent and bread earner of the family. Further, the organisation conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and pray for solace at this time of grief and sorrow.
CVYO: The Chiechama Village Youth Organisation (CVYO) has vehemently condemned the barbaric and inhuman act perpetrated on Swudeve Nakro of Pholami village by miscreants on the night of September 2.
While expressing its utmost resentment against the barbaric act which was executed within its jurisdiction, the CVYO also conveyed its gratitude and appreciation to the law enforcing agency for swift and prompt action in nabbing the culprits, which ultimately has cleared a lot of doubts. The organisation urged the law enforcing agency to award befitting and exemplary punishment which will serve as a deterrent to any such future acts.
The CVYO mourned the demise of Nakro and shared the pain and grief with the bereaved family. Further, it pray to the Almighty God to grant eternal rest to the departed soul and solace to the bereaved family.
SAYO: The Southern Angami Youth Organisation (SAYO) has strongly condemned the murder of an innocent taxi driver Swuduve Nakro on September 2. ‘The killing is an ominous portent in our society’ SAYO stated.
The organisation urged upon the authority to give befitting punishment to the accused according to the law of the land, at the earliest to avoid any complication. Further, SAYO expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
CSU: The Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) expressed shock at the murdered of Swuduve Nakro of Pholami village on the fateful night of September 2. The union said besides driving a taxi Nakro was once the Headmaster of Good Shepherd School and also served the students community as chairman of Village Education Committee in his village.
The CSU strongly condemned the act of culprits for taking the life of someone who had a vision not only his children but students in general. The union urged upon all citizens to condemn such act in a strongest term.
The union while sharing pain with the bereaved family appealed the Government to provide an ex-gratia to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, CSU lauded the effort of the police department for swift action in nabbing the culprits and further appealed the concerned authority to provide befitting punishment to all perpetrators at the earliest.
“Such persons who are against the peaceful existence of human being should not be allowed to live in the society rather they should be eliminated for good,” the press release added.
ANTA Zbt. Unit: The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA), Zunheboto unit has strongly condemned the cold blooded murder of Swuduve Nakro.
The unit appreciated the timely intervention of the Satakha Police personnel in nabbing culprits and also urged the concerned authority to set an example by awarding befitting punishment to all the persons involved so that such incident does not happen in future. Further, the unit conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
BJP Minority Morcha: The BJP Minority Morcha has strongly condemned the brutal killing of BJYM President of Phulomi Local Committee of Phek district, Swuduve Nakro. While appreciating the Police Department for their quick actions in recovering the vehicle and arresting culprits, the Morcha requested the administration to punish the culprits as per the law.
CDWO: The Chiephobozou Division Welfare Organisation (CDWO) has strongly denounced the dastardly act of murdering an innocent local taxi driver, Swuduve Nakro of Pholami village by Toishe of Zhekiye village, Daniel Yimchunger and Avituo of Jakhama village on the night of September 2. “Killing the bread earner of the family and orphaning the young siblings of Nakro is hard to bear” the CDWO stated. The organization appealed to the competent authority to award befitting punishment to the heinous perpetrators and also pleaded to the state government to extend ex-gratia to the deceased family.
KDTODU: The Kohima District Truck Owners’ and Drivers’ Union (KDTODU) has expressed strong resentment over the brutal murder Swuduve Nakro. The union also appealed the concerned authority to award befitting punishment to the culprits. The KDTODU further expressed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
KCSU: The Kohima Chakhesang Students’ Union (KCSU) has condemned the September 2 incident where Swuduve Nakhro, a taxi driver belonging to Pholami village was taken under the pretext of hiring his taxi and brutally murdered and dumped.
The union urged all sensible citizens to condemn the inhuman and merciless act of the murderers and further appealed the law enforcing authority to award stringent punishment to the culprits as per the law of the land.
RWUIK: The Rüngüzümi Welfare Union Kohima (RWUIK) has strongly condemned the heinous crime and cold blooded murder of Swüdüve Nakro of Pholami village on September 2. The Union urged upon the government agencies to take the matter seriously and accord befitting punishment to the perpetrators, so that no such crime does committed again.
CVC: The Chiechama Village Council (CVC) has expressed shock over the dastardly act perpetuated upon Swuduve Nakro of Pholami village, by some evil doers in the vicinity of the village near Dzüvüzie, Nachama junction on the night September 2 and tarnishing the image of the village.
The council urged upon the law enforcing agencies and administration to serve befitting punishment according to the law of the land. CVC also called upon all right thinking citizens to condemn and fight so as to eradicate such recurrence. CVC further extended condolence to the bereaved wife and family members and pray that God’s comfort be upon them during this difficult time.
