Open Letter to the Labour Commissioner Nagaland

Dear Sir,

we the aggrieved District & Block contractual employees of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan under Department of School Education would sincerely like to share our grievances seeking assistance for legal advice through the Press Media in regard to our salary not paid by the concern authority for the last fourteen months (w.e.f April 2017 to May 2018) though we have relentlessly rendered our service with full dedication and hardwork.

We have in this regard already written to the concern Mission Director & concern Principal secretary to the Govt. of Nagaland and also through press media, sharing the forced hardship and untold grievances faced by the contractual employees for the last 14 months.

Therefore, owing to our present sympathetic state of nature, we would like to know the legalities under  “The Payment of Wages Act, 1936” , other Act provisions under the Constitution of India especially for the Contract Employees and also the possible intervention by the Labour Department/Commission of Nagaland.
