Dimapur, Sep. 25 (EMN): The NSS programme officers of Mount Olive College Kohima, Vivino Seleyi and Lipoktoshi along with 20 NSS volunteers observed NSS Day with Government Middle School, Phesama, the NSS adopted village, under the theme ‘Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’ on Sept. 22.
Seleyi highlighted the purpose of the visit and gave a short speech on how to reduce, reuse and recycle the materials of daily use to save the environment from further deterioration.
In the first session, the students were participated in craft works such as making paper bags, paper craft, handmade pen holder etc. while in the second session the students partook in different kinds of games based on the theme.
The programme concluded with cleaning the classrooms and school compound.
