Dimapur, Dec. 15 (EMN): The Naga Students’ Federation on Friday questioned the ‘sincerity’ of the parties currently involved especially the government of India while demanding to expedite the solution to the Naga political issue. “In the 2nd Federal Assembly of the NSF, the August House had prolonged deliberation on the Indo-Naga Political dialogues whereby, the House agreed that the Federation as a premiere organisation of the youth and those who will inherit the future must view with all seriousness and implore positively to safeguard the future of our people bringing in sight the more than two decades of the peace process but the lack of reaching a logical conclusion, the House questions the sincerity of the parties involved more particularly the Indian Government and therefore, demands for an expedited solution which shall be honourable and acceptable to the people, “ stated the press release from the apex student organisation. The federation also lambasted the current political scenario in the state that portrays the wrong image of the Naga politics on the whole. “Giving a focus on the Nagaland State political scenario, which directly or indirectly reflects the overall Naga Political projection, the House viewed with utter consternation of the frequent fracas defection and horse trading by the so-called elected Representatives, devoid of any ethics or principles,” it stated.
